I think you're being a bit harsh there, Alan. Whilst there may be a self-promotion agenda, there's actually a lot of sound advice in the original post. This isn't on a par with the infamous 'Hunny Gee' who plagued the site with her Delphic utterances - all based on the American market!

Hmm. So is it okay for fund managers, payday lenders etc to join the forums on Citywire,(resurrect 2 year old threads)to promote their businesses and then include a link, even their mobile numbers and an offer of coffee and a chat? Bizarrely Hunny Gee never actually did any of those things. She was just a big tease.
