First full day with solar and battery yesterday.
Part cloudy and sunshine, grid energy usage dropped 96%.
My property is surrounded by a forest, solar is as much use as a chocolate fire guard in my situation.
The difference in output from solar panels in direct sunlight vs daylight may vary by only 10%.
Energy is still generated on cloudy days.

This is stupid, why aren’t modern houses built with Pv and batteries?
Two days and nothing to pay, I know Nov to Jan will be harder.
Get them included in every new build.

Get them included in every new build.
And every commercial build too.
