I am looking for a £60k loan to start a property buy to let portfolio. I want to pay the loan back as a lump sum in 1 year with 25% interest (£75k in total). I have a share portfolio with Hargreaves Lansdown that I can use as collateral. I have enquired to a few companies about a Lombard loan but they say a minimum of £500k is needed in a share portfolio.
I work full time for the Royal Mail but want to be in the property business full time in the near future.
Looking for anyone who wants to invest or for any advice on how to acquire the loan.
