Government has a huge role to play in this. Investing in the NHS creates growth, investing in public services creates growth, investing in the green economy creates growth, investing in people and skills creates growth.
And giving workers decent pay rises and putting money in their pockets creates growth
Investing in the NHS is pissing money away on the worst health service in the developed world. No other country in the world has copied our model, for good reason. Every other developed country provides better healthcare to its citizens. At the moment we have a health service that no-one uses if they can afford not to. It's really grim and pretending that its ever going to improve is ludicrous.
