I'm sharing this as a draft and a work in progress, I think it may help me with position sizing my portfolio of individual stocks
The business stage structure below is loosely based on a Twitter post by Brian Feroldi who is a good follow there.
The idea is to work towards a framework rather than anything too hard and fast. For example, this exercise has helped me to frame the recent partial sales of Apple, Microsoft and Nvidia which were way too big to be comfortable in my mind.
Amazon is a similar problem, currently 6.9% but I think whereas profit growth was assured (category 4) it's now really category 3 as fundamentals have moved backwards. So likely to trim soon. Yes I know, stable door - horse bolted and all that .....
