I'm posting an extract of the article that Mr GL shares in his post up thread

Roughly a month ago Anthony French was bragging that his TR thread would get to 1 million views. He uses this as a justification for his posts - i.e. there is a demand

A month ago total views on the TR thread were nearer 800k, now they are nearer 900k. So forum members are "interested"

The following may provide a clue as to why?

It occurred to me that some posters seem to copy-paste articles that are basically advertisements.

I don’t understand why anyone would do this on a daily basis unless they have a Trump-like need for publicity.

Is it possible that they are getting paid to do so?

I am surprised, not that I appear on the thread that it took more than a few posts before the agenda
