Another bad day for the NASDAQ....and every other index BUT the NASDAQ is definitely falling further than anything else...other than Japan.
More than just a rotation but overdone until we see more evidence of an actual recession.

Odd one out Mercardolibre up 10% .
It maybe the only Nasdaq share I own, directly or indirectly.

Does it matter if we are in the right stocks at the right time....let's not try and overcomplicate our lives...

What a load of meaningless drivel. You are the forum prick.

Well we will see if the market has gone off growth this afternoon. BUT I think this fall is more than just going off growth.
But as usual overdone. Is the US really going into a recession or better still is the evidence there to back it up?

The fall continues across the market but growth (Nasdaq) the bigger faller.
Unless there's a good reason tomorrow will see a recovery..... possible a dead cat bounce!!

I am beginning to think the carry trade is involved.
First thoughts were the increase in Japanese interest rates should have had an effect but the now expected reduction in US interest rates will have the same effect.
So how much borrowed yen is in US bonds and possibly more importantly how much is in the stock market particularly magnificent 7.

PS at one time Murray international borrowing was in yen.
