Does anyone know where I can sell pre-IPO shares? I've tried EquityZen, MicroVentures and Sharespost but they only deal in tech shares.
I bought 2000 pre-IPO shares from Elegance Brands, Inc. at the issue price of 50 cents each early this year. 2000 shares of Elegance Brands give me the option to purchase 1000 warrants at 75 cents per warrant upon IPO, which can then be converted to an additional 1000 shares.
EDIT:
Update – Elegance Brands has since decreased the proportion of share to warrant from 2 shares for 1 warrant to 1 share for 1 warrant. So, instead of getting 1000 warrants from owning 2000 shares, I now have 2000 warrants.
The exercise or strike price of the warrant has also been reduced to 38 cents from 75 cents. That means I can exercise the option to convert 2000 warrants to 2000 shares at 38 cents per share before Mar 04, 2022. This will give me a total of 4000 shares of Elegance Brands. (Edit end)
Elegance Brands is a fast growing global beverage company with a focus on innovation. Its flagship brand, Gorilla Hemp CBD Energy Drink is infused with hemp. Gorilla Hemp does not contain THC, the addictive chemical which gives a high found in most cannabis plants. It has CBD (cannabidiol) which experts call a medical miracle. CBD has been shown to improve conditions like asthma, arthritis, depression, epilepsy, migraine and others and has no major side effect.
According to the company, this energy drink “combines ingredients that boost physical stamina and mental clarity with the wellness effects of 20mg Hemp CBD, delivering a balanced experience that optimizes performance throughout the day.”
Elegance Brands also offers a range of premium and luxury spirits brands. (elegance-brands.com)
I'm not an employee of Elegance Brands and authorization is NOT required from them to sell the shares. The shares are presently held in custody by Elegance Brands' transfer agent, KoreConX. (koreconx.com)
I wanted to keep these shares till IPO as energy drinks are a growing market but the pandemic and prolonged lockdown have messed up my plans.
Any useful tip would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.
