I hadn't heard of Oxbury, but it sounds like an interesting proposition. From the website:
Quote:Oxbury is the first bank of its kind to be set up in the past two centuries. It was founded by bankers, farmers, agricultural businesses and technologists to become the UK’s only bank 100% dedicated to serving the rural economy.
Oxbury has paid out billions of pounds in supporting farmers with long term loans and cashflow related products - helping farmers by funding improvements in efficiency and productivity, reducing carbon footprints, producing energy, growing high quality crops and livestock for home production and export, diversification and much more.
Sounds like exactly the sort of thing this country should be encouraging, along with setting up a new 3i to support British start-ups.
