For anyone else disappointed (or unaware) that Oxbury's attractive 3M Bond (4.80% AER) appeared to have been withdrawn recently - just as it neared "Get it now or miss out this tax year" status - I've just noticed it's still available for existing customers.

Date of first deposit sets Maturity Date. 14 day funding window.

This suits me as I have 2024/5 savings interest headroom and maturing funds available in the next 14 days.

Yes, I’m in that and other longer term high yielding Oxbury bonds, plus their 90 day notice account. They and Hodge have both been good banks to be with over the last year

I hadn't heard of Oxbury, but it sounds like an interesting proposition. From the website:

Quote:
Oxbury is the first bank of its kind to be set up in the past two centuries. It was founded by bankers, farmers, agricultural businesses and technologists to become the UK’s only bank 100% dedicated to serving the rural economy.

Oxbury has paid out billions of pounds in supporting farmers with long term loans and cashflow related products - helping farmers by funding improvements in efficiency and productivity, reducing carbon footprints, producing energy, growing high quality crops and livestock for home production and export, diversification and much more.

Sounds like exactly the sort of thing this country should be encouraging, along with setting up a new 3i to support British start-ups.
