The equity strategy tracks the MSCI ACWI IMI Equity index, covering a broad church of large-, mid-, and small-cap stocks across global markets. The fund provides exposure to approximately 99% of the global investible equity universe, to counteract the dominance of US mega-caps in conventional indices.

L&G’s new fixed income product is positioned to provide diversification away from the traditional global aggregate indices. Tracking the Bloomberg Multiverse 500MM B3+ Custom Index, the fund blends global high-yield assets, investment-grade (IG) bonds, and emerging market local currency debt.

The final addition targets infrastructure companies through the Solactive L&G Climate Enhanced Infrastructure Index, with priority given to firms with strong environmental credentials. The fund seeks initially to cut carbon intensity in half, with an investable universe including utility, transportation and telecommunications firms in developed markets.

‘With concentration risk challenges for equity portfolios and pressures on inflation and bond yields, we have seen demand increase for more tailored exposure to both equity and credit markets,’ said L&G Asset Management’s head of UK Wholesale Ben Cherrington.

The cynical me is thinking that just as in the fund space (OEIC's Unit Trusts and IT's of late), many providers are just launching offerings to capture AUM and they are going a bit too far. Tweaks here and there.

Form the L&G stable, a simple (or a blend of ) things like L&G International ( or LGGG), Global 100, L&G Tech Index, Health Index, Infra Index etc should suffice.

However, each to their own.

Vanguard do a UK Equity Income tracker fund (OCF 0.14%, yield 4.87%) which would be useful if that fitted in with what someone wanted.

I would be interested in a Global Equity Income tracker which would hopefully steer away from the "Mag 7" and give an alternative. So far as I am aware, no such beast exists (I would be very happy for someone to prove me wrong!) so it's a shame that this gap wasn't filled instead of the weird and not so wonderful stuff that has appeared!

HINT, MYI, NAIT , SAIN, STS BNY global income have little in the Mag 7.

I’ve tried to avoid the M7 as I hold JGGI

BNKR is now going M7which I hold, so will watch as I want to keep exposure down.

https://fundcentres.lgim...-IMI-Equity-Index-Fund/

Looks good for those wanting an alternative to Vanguard FTSE Global All Cap.

MSCI ACWI IMI tracks developed and emerging markets, and includes small caps right?

And this undercuts Vanguard's FTSE Global All Cap, as the L&G product OCF is 17bps Vs Vanguard's 23bps.

But is the fund currently only for institutional investors...?

It looks AJBell has the GBP hedged class at least: https://www.ajbell.co.uk...t-research/FUND:BP2BYJ2
12bps.

Unless I've missed something, but it does say eligible to hold in ISA, SIPP etc.

All of those have high fees and active management. Quite different to index funds.

There`s this one - Vanguard Global Income ( 3.4 % yield ) beats VHYL over 5 yrs ( 63 vs. 49 ) 43 % US 12 % UK . Slightly expensive at 0.48 % OCF .

Yep, already have that one. Pretty certain it isn't a tracker though. As I suggested above, I don't think there is a tracker (OEIC/UT not ETF/IT)
