The forum isn't moderated, so it's democratic and we get what we "vote" for

As an aside, in 20-ish years of posting on various forums, this is the first one I've been on that doesn't seem to have active admins and moderators. Usually the problems on forums stem from cliques and forum politics, plus too much moderation, which drives posters away. Some of the more contentious characters on here would have experienced the Ban Hammer long ago…

[quote=mdss68;303142]Not a bot as such, but another part of the KL games, Trudy Scrumptious - cheerleader on several of the we miss KL type threads, and only the once, but lost her rag and posted 2 paragraphs of precisely the "great man's" style.
imho etc.

mdss68, you brave keyboard warrior you. Nothing better to do with your time than make stupid accusations. After 16 years on the forum I've decided to retire Trudy. Will return as guest, but certainly not to read your tripe.

Meshii Mano seems a bit suspicious posting a pro Labour script after his 2nd post

Curious... Meshii Mano's post history can be inspected here: https://moneyforums.citywire.com/yaf_search.aspx?postedby=Meshii%20Mano

I see just two posts currently. To me they seem to be blatantly obvious AI-generated guff... utterly bland and inconsequential almost entirely information-free "filler" text. And hilariously the earlier one misinterprets a thread on BTL "buy to let" as being about BTL "below the line" (a marketing world phrase). Yes, welcome to the shiny AI powered future... it sucks! But it's not obviously shilling anything (no links to "Zumba for Seniors" awkwardly shoehorned in for example, at least not currently... the spambots have been see going back and dropping them in later though).

So when you say "after his 2nd post" do you mean there was a third one that was more blatant spam for someone that's since been taken down? If so it'd be a rare sign of some moderation activity on this forum!

Whenever the subject of bots and AI come up I always get an image of the products from Sirius Cybernetics Corporation.
Then it all makes sense.

It was just a guess, the post seemed odd.
However, he posted yesterday in the property section in the style of our mate AF
