Reform and its far right supporters have been remarkably quiet this week - unsurprising as its leader and base closely identify with Trump and the president's antics have been too extreme even for them. . We've probably passed peak Reform. Sensible centrist UK voters appalled as the US slowly descends into a pariah state.will vote accordingly.

Clutching at straws.

It certainly will affect the thinking for some. But clearly didn't swing the council election I just posted with Reform on 54%

I note Farage distanced himself from some of Trumps remarks, and the public spat with Musk. I don't think things are as close as you might think.

It's Starmer that publicly went sucking up to Trump, not Farage.

The big issue of the day for the UK is illegal migration and the utter failure of the government to deal with it. They just don't have a plan. And this will be the issue that most people will likely vote on come the Council Elections in May (the ones that haven't been Gerrymandered away).

We will see. But I don't see much changing in the UK between now and then.

The main interest in this will be to see how many voters are willing to do something different. If a significant number are willing to change, this will be promising. Especially in an area where Labour wins by a mile.

They probably will win...

The number one issue for the UK ATM remains the failure to control borders. And that hasn't changed.
