to Aberdeen.

I guess after Stphn Brd's departure, the new management thought it was time for a change.

Oh that is hilarious..... made my day.

It was a ridiculous thing to make people stuggle with the spelling and pronunciation of your corporate name. Terrible for web searching, spell scheckers etc.

Is jaGUar next...?

Finally, some common sense. What a waste of time and money that rebranding exercise was (as are too many of them).

The scary thing is that an ad agency would have been paid loads to come up with abrdn when even a child would have told you it's a stupid idea. Someone should have been sacked over that one!

From what I've read, the agency is Wolff Olins, one of the biggest names in that business, and they were paid £1.5mn.

It's a shame that the Standard Life name was lost.
