The assets aren't securities that pay an income, they're wind farms that you have to operate and maintain with the revenue coming from complex agreements with distribution companies and the grid. Potentially that could be a useful diversifier for pension funds but at the moment I doubt they have the expertise, and it certainly isn't just a substitute for gilts or corporate bonds.
