If you buy 10k of a global tracker at a pound and the said same global tracker compounds at 7%, u will double your money in ten years 20k.

If you buy 10k of the said same tracker at 90p and the said same global tracker compounds at 7%
u will have 22.2k, the longer the time period the difference will only accelerate.
But if you can buy at 80p it equates to 25k.

If a global tracker doesn't compound at 7% for 10 years. Then you'll realise that you should have been monitoring your investments more closely.

If only investing was buying at a discount. Many people unfortunately overpay for their stocks.

You're the one that suggested buying at 90p a unit was better than a 100p.
