In the UK it is a chronic shortage of housing. Demand and Supply.

It is indeed a plug.

Not a very good one either. ...How can someone have got the "best deals in overseas property" and on the other hand be "new to the real estate market".

Turkey Homes was registered in June last year and has yet to file accounts. Its website gives the office address as the prestigious-sounding 52 Berkeley Square, Mayfair. I note that more than 100 other companies share that address, several of which have not filed accounts yet either.

The registered office address is a small house or part of a house in Pinner, Middlesex: 18a Waxwell Lane, Pinner, Middlesex, United Kingdom, HA5 3EN This may be viewed on Google Street View. It is also the correspondence address of Turkey Homes sole director Mr. Tolga Ertukel.

Previously, Mr. Ertukel was director of Xpert Services Ltd, an IT consulting company registered in 2009 whose accounts in 2011 showed net assets of £4731 and liabilities of £6443. It has been dissolved.

The Turkey Homes website contains the statement that "Turkey Homes is a UK registered company with Companies House UK, registration number 9654616, so buyers are protected under UK law." There is no FCA protection and buyers might find that the protection afforded by a private limited company is limited.

Edit a day later: I see that forum contributor Andrew Grant has now edited out his trailer for Turkey Homes. Thanks..
