as a seasoned BTL investor and with the on-going Taxation Of Landlords
I have had to rethink my Business
I have sold my Personal BTL property into my limited company and I will avoid a great deal of the new taxation
S24 is without doubt a huge burden in the PRS and great number of Landlords have yet to wake up to S24
I stopped buying investment property two years ago and I am not Highly leveraged with the Property I hold in my own name
Having looked at my business I see little point investing in further in Bricks and Mortar
I would like some views on where to invest next
The Company has a Directors Pension in place and its making contributions into the pension
on top of this I am funding my Pension with the £3600 allowance from income
and I am funding my and my wife's ISA to the maximum
I have picked a large range of funds from UK to Emerging Markets and the USA
I am really enjoying picking funds and there managers and I am learning something new every day
My question is where else should I invest after Pension and ISA
I am a 40% Tax payer and my wife is a 20% tax payer but is close to the 40% with her employed income
Its very strange how life works out I started BTL to retire early and live on and now I am investing back into pensions and ISA
But BTL in the company is not really worth it as drawing income with the new dividend taxes and the limited salary of 8k is not a great and I will be paying tax around 55% if I take dividend or salary with the NI
where next to invest
