Which is why there's this recent trend for polling to swing left, and vote results to swing right (in the public space, we're all self-censoring).
When the country voted for Brexit, social media became awash with quite violent ageist rhetoric, a lot of anti-white rhetoric, and even a lot of anti-outside-London rhetoric – which all seems to be acceptable to technology companies, advertisers and friends and family, so long as it's on the 'correct' side of the debate. Which is a worrying trend – and I don't think fund raising begins to ameliorate these effects.
