This question to forum members is regarding gifts from income. One is able to gift £3000 IHT free/annum.One can also gift smaller sums £250 per year to different people.Regarding gifts from income, I presume if these are made regularly and do not affect ones lifestyle then these are IHT free. My question is how regular do these have to be.If I gifted monies at the same time each year rather than each month would this be acceptable to the Inland Revenue. It would be easy to work out this excess ammount at one date say for example the tenth of Febuary each year. I would be very grateful for any advice or suggestions from foum members.
