The 13F records show average buy price for Nike was $84.68 as of Q2 end (assuming it is accurate). The stock dropped on the last day of Q2 so I imagine they bought some at least on that drop and the rest prior (hence the fall in NAV due to it).

Anyway it was small position back then and I imagine they built it up during the lows in the summer.

It will be interesting to understand why they bought. The numbers look good for Nike, with the main issue being growth in revenues in recent 1-2 years. I do not see a huge downside at current levels, based on their brand and wide reach. But sportswear/apparel/shoes has a lot of competition. Nike is the number 1 brand though for shoe wear.

I suspect they bought them because they were undervalued and as a term investment they hope to make money...good enough for me and not sure it helps any of us going into great detail.

Gosh it keeps sliding, what's going on? Is it concern about Bill leaving to join a DJT administration?

Stocks go up and they go down.

Based on to-days figures PSH are still a strong Hold and are moving close to being overweight due to the
market undervaluing the shares.

Agreed. I have added to my ISA to compliment my longer term position in the SIPP.

This is the potentially the biggest lagging trump trade in the listed large cap sector.

All the PR he gets should help close the discount. Thats a chunky discount.

Apparently the actual investment credit goes to his team.

Compliment like a complimentary breakfast at a hotel or complimentary bag of peanuts on a flight?

Why would it compliment have two of the same positions in different investment accounts? Sounds cringe like people saying they are nibbling this or that share.

Two strategies based on time scales, but like a venn diagram there is overlap. What I should have wrote is that an investment here has both long term and mid-term benefits.

Amazing that a IT can trade on a 30% discount when majority / near all of its holdings are of publicly listed companies.
