I have recently had cause to send two letters to Santander complaining that they cannot provide a satisfactory level of service at their counters.In summary manning levels are inadequate to provide a satisfactory level of customer service.
I understand through the press that 600 new employees are to be brought in to rectify this basic problem.
If this kind of problem exits which appears widely understood by the media,Santander appear to be attempting to punch above their weight , and should address their fundamentals before involving shareholders in more complex investment.
