Well looks like the first European battery 'gigafactory' is about to go pop.

https://www.theguardian....-batterymaker-northvolt

Who knew?

Who could have imagined that a product with only one market plus over production and competition would lead to commodity type pricing...

Won't be the last I suspect.

UK to spend 22bn on carbon capture.

What an utter waste of money on a hopeless technology black hole.

Clueless politicians who don't understand technology 🤷

Early Winter Ice Halts Arctic Shipping Traffic Weeks Ahead of Schedule

"The summer shipping window on Russia’s Northern Sea Route is coming to a rapid close weeks ahead of schedule. A number of vessels and convoys are rushing to complete their transits before the route shuts down in the next three weeks.

Unlike the last couple of summers when Russia’s Arctic coastal waterways were fully clear of sea ice, residual winter ice persisted in the eastern section this year. This has resulted in the early onset of ice formation especially in the Laptev, East Siberian, and Chukchi Seas.

Russia’s Northern Sea Route Administration announced that vessels with no ice class will have to vacate the waterway by October 15, around 2-3 weeks ahead of schedule. For vessels with light and medium ice classifications the navigation season will end on October 20 and October 31 respectively."

Yeah, £22Bn to force air into caves... harmless air, that we and all the other animals breathe out and all the plants breathe in. Speaking of which, even if you believe in this utter rubbish, wouldn't it be cheaper and better to just plant trees?

Perhaps one of the people who voted for this nonsense can explain?

The wheels will come off this unscientific crap before long. There will be brutally cold winters in future as there have been many times before. And that's when we will find out the hard way what this crack pot, religious mania boils down to.

I believe we pay the Met Office to provide us with a scientific public service. I object to having my taxes used to fabricate data and science and to lie to the public.

We have all had enough of this endless crap.

I've been saying this about the Met Office for years. They go on about what the weather will be like in a hundred years from now, but often cannot even forecast the weather accurately on the day it is happening. They are often wrong in real time.

But what's the use complaining? The elites and their paid idiots will just carry on regardless as they usually do with their fakery and scams, and all the NPCs will "follow the science". I just ignore the cretins and do as I please.

“The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary.”
