sorry to go off topic, but if they could kindly increase the mileage allowance from 45p per mile, that'd also be much obliged.

60k a year SIPP contribution would be good.
That'd mean I can stay inside the basic rate.
Better go and sell those Gilts that I bought & return the funds to the bank.... short duration & good experience gained so no great harm done

You can opt to claim the actual costs incurred.

Starmer is actively avoiding confrontation with the Unions as it is. The wording used by Hunt. Makes it challenging for Starmer to portray this as giveaway for the rich. Subtle but effective.
