As forum members are curious about what others are buying or selling, I thought it worth starting an experimental thread for the purpose.

A number of forum members have suggested starting a new transactions thread, so I thought I might as well bite the bullet.

As the last page of the old transactions page is borked..

Vanguard: switched some mmf into LS60. Across all 4 portfolios (mine & missus’s) now currently approx 40% mmf, 55% passive global (VWRL / FTSE Global All-Cap / FTSE Developed world ex-UK) and 5% LS40/LS60. Plan is to slowly switch at least half of mmf’s into LS, or just a regular Vanguard bond fund (no idea which, yet).

this weekends accounting concludes that, despite my earlier-gilt-buying-efforts-this-year, I've still amassed £5k in interest unwrapped (> £1k personal savings allowance). FFS.

so £15k away to OH's ISA for TN25 Gilt tomorrow and
£50k or so probably TG24 Gilt on Tuesday

I am itching to go the Index-Linked Gilt route but I'm twitchy about those; need to do some legwork to know what i'm actually buying, also not sure of which maturity to go for.

The good news (if there is any...) is I won't be a higher rate taxpayer this year because the SIPP is getting the full £60k...

Very happy to oblige...

My purchase pricing date was 06/10... Note I tried to post the transaction on the day but the transactions thread was broken. It took some jiggery pokery to post. Note that this fund follows MCSI not the Nikkei.

Bought back Odyssean, NCC and XP Power sell offs dented their recent performance(they added more of both on dips) .Always worth a read of their updates for honest assessment of the UK small cap universe.

Have placed sell orders for around £7k proceeds of various OEICs in my Hargreaves Lansdown GIA as follows:

- River & Mercantile UK Smaller Acc
- Jupiter UK Mid Cap Acc
- Schroder UK Dynamic Smaller Acc
- Stewart Investors Asia Pacific Leaders Acc

I've held these for many years and they have built up decent gains in that time. I'm selling because

- I want to use up my annual CGT allowance of £6k (these sales today use up around half of the allowance)
- The funds are underperforming now, they once were good
- I prefer passive now, these are active
- OEICs are expensive to hold in HL
- I want to increase passive income, these are Accs
- I can use the funds raised to part fund my Vanguard ISA and also sort the annual £2,880 into my HL SIPP

Once the sales go through I will transfer units in each of the same OEICs to Mrs Trout's GIA and then sell there to use up her CGT allowance.
