If I recall correctly base rates are still a staggering 9.5% in Georgia and inflation is staggering zero %? Very Conservative in there views on dealing with inflation. Specially as the target is 3% not 2%.

That would be staggering as the Georgian Lira is falling about 5/6% per year against the USD/GBP. So I really don't understand how that can work. Are we sure inflation there is not rising?

With higher rates for longer probable I somewhat regret selling out of this and considering buying back in?

Other higher for longer and even higher for higher stocks is ALPH where own a considerable amount. I really would like more portfolio diversification in stocks or assets that will go up with higher rates as I have considerable amounts in bond-proxies. So far I only know of ALPH and BGEO that can full-fill this role.

I love this chart of inflation where you can click the burger menu on the top right of the map and enter full screen, then zoom into any region of the world:
https://tradingeconomics...try-list/inflation-rate

Unlike the experts (specifically the bond traders), when I look at the data global inflation is getting better, so not necessarily a bull case for this stock from my perspective.

Interesting posts here so thanks guys for the input.

With the current trend and please correct me if wrong, the share price will continue to rise maybe not as much as initially thought but I can't see it going down in the future months.

The blur -The forum cannot predict short-term share price movements. This stock may continue on trend as long as interest rates are not aggressively cut or if the West continues to escalate tensions with Putin by encroaching on historically neutral territories.

Only if net buying and no one can forecast what will happen to-day never mind the future..
Buyers and seller are driven for all different reason....

My interest is via CGEO (plus 92%) which on to-days stats I regard as a strong HOLD...

Will impact GCEO too?

https://foreignpolicy.co...-protests-democracy-eu/
"If passed, the law would require all nongovernmental organizations to declare if they receive a certain amount of their funding from abroad."

My view: I can understand why, but in the long run this this could block Georgia's ambitions of joining the EU I think its better for Georgia if the west stopped invading eastern countries with our democracy.

I hold no positions in these.

I rather think it's Mr. Putin doing the encroaching....with half a million troops, tanks, cruise missiles destroying lives and cities...🤔

But somehow that's the Wests fault?

Not a fault, its Putins fault, but it is the reason... Looking at it from Putin’s perspective, he sees Europe expanding its influence through democratic means. Additionally, Europe tends to follow U.S. directives due to their NATO alliance. Understanding these dynamics is crucial for making informed decisions rather than following only the western news including the BBC that I respect.

Well having topped up yesterday, I have been rear ended pretty badly today.
Being a glutter for punishment, I topped up a small amount today
Larger amount is reserved for CGEO which I have a smaller holding in.
Today this feels like the plays in 5SPY and 5QQQ though not as confident to go in more big.
