As a further observation, there also seems to have been a rise in the number of posters (if that's the correct word...) , who seemingly joined the forum in 2012, but have now decided to give us their second post, snoopsymum being one example. Think there was another couple yesterday.

Not a bot as such, but another part of the KL games, Trudy Scrumptious - cheerleader on several of the we miss KL type threads, and only the once, but lost her rag and posted 2 paragraphs of precisely the "great man's" style.

Let's hope things are getting better.
Some people got away with peddling shite for years.
But they were popular - idolised, revered.
And that's why they did it - they needed this forum more than it needed them.
But no-one seemed to see that, and the few that did were flogging a dead horse when they raised their head above the parapet.
Even claims of 50% annual profits, describing themselves as being an 'alpha male', and repeatedly turning nasty when challenged didn't seem to ring any alarm bells for the majority.
It frustrated the hell out of me.

The forum isn't moderated, so it's democratic and we get what we "vote" for

For example, there has been a lot of grumbling about Anthony French's posts (justified in my view)

He does have a point though, lots of people are clicking on his thread which will get to 1 million views before long

He's not going to listen to requests to stop posting / reduce posting / improve quality / reduce copy and pasting

However, if you want to take away the last argument that he can mount i.e. that there is demand for his ramblings, then you can "vote" as follows ......

- don't view
- don't thank
- don't reply
- don't complain

Will it make any difference?

Probably not.

But if you feel like I do then you can take away the only reasonably credible point that he is able to make now.

Ignoring is usually the best policy but because most members are not responding to his TR thread, Mr French has decided to cut & paste in other threads to garner attention and crowd-out other relevant contributions. Members will give up rather than negotiate a torrent of his gibberish.
