Most new investors are able to grasp the techniques but they do not have enough qualified sellers to apply their techniques to. As with any business, you will need to have strong communication skills, good technique know how and creative marketing knowledge. It will take time to learn these but the good news is that you only have to learn them once to become wealthy.

Jeffian, it was meant to be a joke. Weary sarcasm doesn't come across too well
on the Thank-You box.

Hunny, you've talked me into investing with you.
Please send me US $1 Million to buy some real estate on a no obligation, non refundable basis and I'll send you 5% of the profits (if any) after ten years.
A cheque (check in US) to my P O Address will suffice.
With your money and my expertise I'm sure we'll get along just swell.

Sorry, Alan. MIssed that.

These posts by HG wouldn't be quite so bad if there was any attempt at all to tailor them to the local market. They are clearly all based on US experience and some of them are plain misleading or wrong in relation to UK property. The one claiming that agents can take commission from both 'sides' in a transaction would have the perpetrator drummed out of any UK professional body and probably even worse.

Jeffian, I was assuming that Hunny's browser is somehow not adding the scam/spam link or maybe it's just Himanshu winding us up.
