Received a phone call on my home phone number asking if I was happy with my trading account / Auto Trader. This is a clear data breach. I do not give out my home phone number. Caller ID was hidden.

It has not come from my current provider as they do not have my home phone. That leaves USER DELETED (if they are still around). Data should have been deleted under GDPR.

Did anyone receive a call?

No
Right /email the 2 companies asking them what personal information they hold what action they took and are they aware of any breech
Tell them they have an obligation tp orespond and failure will then resuly in you making an official complaint
Dont forget to ask them who the supplied the information to
You could also ring and ask for the compliance officer and discuss the situation

Is your home phone number recorded on your individual electoral registration? When your current trading provider did an ID check on you they will often use the electoral register to do this. If your home phone number is on there, that could be where they got it from.

Easy to jump the gun on who has your info and how they got it.

May simply be you bank seeing transactions to and from a platform.... or even a forum that assumes you have a trading account and has obtained your number by other means, cross referencing your email address with a phone number. Plenty of "dark" services offering to do that.

It's not possible to pin it onto a particular company without some evidence to support that....

No. Its not what retired people worry about. But we do worry about not enough people carrying on working to pay our pensions so may I be the first to say thank you for your consideration :)
