Anon 1 - All headlines appear in reverse chronological order on the home page (http://www.citywire.co.uk/money - you can get there by clicking on 'Citywire Money' at the top of the navigation bar).

We may add a News button like we used to have as it's been a common request - until we do here's a link to add to your bookmarks! http://www.citywire.co.uk/money/latest-news/list

It is certainly prettier and it is faster. Bad things are that the News is missing and I find it much more difficult to find the information I used to access so easily at the News.

In short - more style but less substance.

David - I assure you we're not.

Meyer - I miss it too! It's under consideration, though would take a bit of time to recreate for the new site. In the meantime you can see the FTSE charts at http://www.citywire.co.u...d-performance/home.aspx (via the 'Performance' link on the nav bar).

Charles - we're going to see what we can do about making the news more visible. In the meantime all articles appear on the homepage (http://www.citywire.co.uk/money) and there's a 'more' link at the bottom which points to here: http://www.citywire.co.uk/money/latest-news/list

Rich, I can't see the facility to get articles into a printable format (PDF). Has that gone? Quite apart from printing, it makes the articles more easily readable.
On that topic it would be better if the PDF were of the article only and not the comments.
Glad to see the strange code number has gone.
A perennial complaint is the splitting of articles into several pages, which just means that I always have to click on "view article on one page".
I am a great fan of your site and your main asset is the quality of some of your journalists.

Thanks for the kind words Drake.

The missing print button is indeed a mystery! Our IT team are investigating.

Most people seemed to dislike the PDFs, so we opted for the more common route of printing a reformatted web page, though we'll certainly take your feedback into consideration.

In the meantime it should be possible to get the print version by pressing Ctrl+P, and if you install software such as CutePDF (http://www.cutepdf.com/products/cutepdf/writer.asp) you can save what would have otherwise been printed as a PDF, though I appreciate it's a couple of extra steps.

As for the article splitting, it's something that many ad-supported websites have to do in order to keep everything free, unfortunately. We've tried to make it less painful than it used to be by making pages much quicker to load.

Cheers

Rich

Getting used to it, familiarity breeds contempt!

Still don't like the fact that you get to the bottom of the page then have to choose 'read whole article' option, find that a bind, don't understand why all articles are not all 'whole' rather than page by page. Have brought this up before and was hoping that the new format would either give us the option at the top or just print the whole article.

This, however, is just a minor irritation and on the whole like the revamping.
