Or Google

But doesn't Ruffer employ too many horrible people, many with posh names? ;-)

Just in case people were interested, Sebastian is on the latest Investors Chronicle podcast, (30 Mar) and Charlotte is on the latest MoneyWeek podcast (25 Mar). Both good listens (IMHO).

Does anyone know why the portfolio no longer appears to be listed on the PAT website?

That seems odd to say the least.

Maybe they've been dumping all the TIPS and buying altcoins and NFTs, hoping to switch back to TIPS before the next monthly fact sheet is published.

Yes I gave the Moneyweek one a listen. Trojan Ethical doing its thing for me, very pleased with progress so far and holding at about 16%. Have held from early days.

CGT, Ruffer Total Return and Trojan vs the World Index .. Used Troy Trojan because PNL's only been advised by Troy since 2009 – so I don't know who was running PNL before that .. But CGT's up over PNL too

These get called 'cash equivalents' a lot, but you see here, over the longest period I can get all three funds in, they're all beating 100% stocks. (no doubt helped by the bond bull market)

Song for Bulldog, courtesy of Roy Castle:

Preservation, preservation, that's what you need
If you want to beat the rest
If you want to be the best
Preservation's what you need.

I have opened an account with Interactive Investor which seems to have a special relationship with Personal Assets Trust so that also looks worth investigating.
For those currently benefitting from said 'special' relationship:

II have today informed me that the 'special' relationship will be ending in July 2022.
I believe 'the arrangement' is coming to an end for everyone, rather than just me, but I am not 100% clear on that aspect.

They did have a similar arrangement for some Artemis fund as well, but I don't hold it. Can't find any google hits for it anymore, I think PNL used to have the agreement stated on their website but now gone.

I assume they will need to inform us all in writing as it perhaps affects the t's & c's on which you decided to open your account.

Bit of a shame because I've currently got 2xGIA & 1xSIPP on the Super Investor Plan (£3.99 trading) all for £9.99/mth, i.e the SIPP fee only.

On a positive note, today's message from the II customer service person represents a significant improvement in quality of response & action.

I’ll be interested to see how BlackRock MyMap 3 and 4 behave in comparison to PNL and CGT over the next few years. BlackRock might have filled that gap for a one stop shop, cheap, passive All Weather fund. So far so good I’d say.

MyMap4 not bad, still more volatile which is what many folks overlook with CGT / PNL.
