Please can anyone tell me where to find historical unit trust divi info from 1986-2000 for Standard Life European Trust acc.units
Abrdn suddenly closed this fund 4/12/2024 & I missed letter for a transfer. to another fund.I
Will now have to declare for CGT. Amazingly I have consolidated tax info back to 2006 & Abrdn have given info back to 2001. Now I'm missing to 1986 (date of original investment.)
Abrdn say they can't give the 14/15 missing years they don't hold the info! I would have thought they were obliged to keep info for all active years of a specific Unit Trust?
Just another problem of being old...I was going to leave the investment to go into my estate if I hadn't missed the letter. That would have saved this problem & wouldn't have been my problem then anyway!
