The above is in todays paper, we will see if the banks come under pressure this morning following the news.

Potentially going to open a can of worms. Numerous types of deferred financing arrangements involve commission. Some lenders may simply walk as a result. Too much trouble to be worth doing certain lines of business.

Boom on STAN today up 5% on buybacks.... going to rotate these into HSBC for the in-laws account and stay more global. Financials more than making up for the disappointment in infra.

What upside is left in large caps I suspect wont now be as rapid so for my own account I am going down the market cap size and into private equity and other financial services outside of banks that benefit from higher more normal rates.

Hi William

Quick update.... Although it is impossible to predict the market peak, it may be wise to fade some of the outperformance as STAN currently trades near a price-to-earnings ratio close to JPMorgan Chase.

BARC and HSBC, with much lower valuations, might have more upside potential. However, it is prudent to fade these as well and avoid getting too greedy...

Instead, consider investing in the financials index XWFS, which could significantly reduce the risk while still participating in the trend and capturing new growth opportunities in the financial sector, such as insurance and services.

Let us know what you do.
