Perhaps we can stick to the subject? I think that FT article is nonsense given Bill clearly wants to guard his HHH holding (see below), he wants to be nimble / have a permanent pool of capital, ans he and other PSers own 28% or so of PSH.

On HHH, he has revised his proposed transaction. There is a presentation at 9am EST via his X/Twitter page, which will be on demand after....

I am trying to be helpful but appreciate I can try to hard to explain how the skills of a good FM. can add value. Enjoy your evening and have many happy investing days ahead.

Another lie you talk down to other posters because you consider yourself more important and more knowledgeable which clearly your not.
Buy investment trusts on a discount sell before they go to par. Wow how clever are you?

Please grow up and if you wish to make a contribution please try and talk with some sort of knowledge. I don’t know what your issues and problems are but I genuinely wish you well.

FT article - strange, how will SABA win any vote when insiders own 28% of the shares...

That with the strong SP performance, who will want a quick gain when they can be part of a long term compunding vehicle or 2) want to change the current investment strategy for a discount trading underperforming SABA mandate.

if SABA even tried to go after Ackman, i know who would win! its not the SABA WOLF

I am not sure we should be worrying about any of this as we cant make any real judgement and both parties can clearly look after themselves and hopefully to our benefit as well.

Ackman busy elsewhere?

My problem is your a prick a jumped up nobody. Whose only aim in life is to belittle anything anyone else says.
Your not superior to me or anyone else on here. No doubt your just a fat slug, the office tea boy and not the vastly superior fund manager you constantly brag about.

I watched the Ackman HHH presentation on X

For me all these Ackman deals seem complicaed but maybe that just the way these types of things happen. He spent quite a bit of time justfying the 1.5% management fee for HHH leveraging the Pershing Square Capital Managements Resource.

Im just wondering if there is value in buying HHH directly as exposure to PSH strategy (given that HHH may be undervalued) in smaller private business. After all thats what i think they are going to do when/if HHH becomes a holding company? HAve the real estate operation as one subsidary but buy other companies too?

Raj …not sure I would want to buy HHH direct when I can buy exposure at a discount and more importantly
they will be buying and selling ahead of us.

Having been the other side I worry about Mr&Mrs Cherrypicker.

Remember if and when you buy they could be selling.

Many in the past have dragged investors in and got out on their backs.

Just increased PSH to overweight as shares moved to cheaper with discount widening again.

I prefer to keep investment simple and never try to be too clever.
