Thanks for doing the digging.

While the role of analysts is often scoffed at as being totally pointless. Being given the time to dig through annual accounts. Turns up all sorts of gems. Which often form part of the thinking behind buy/hold/sell recommendations. Though the full detail only goes to those who pay for the research.

Never held this stock. Most likely never will now.

Some people are calling it the end ( for the time being ) of Private Equity .
The end of " free money " = fewer leveraged buyouts .
If this is the case , it`s bad news for RCP with 40 % in PE.

I suspect that’s a rather sweeping statement they’re making. Like saying Bitcoin is the end of money!

You don't have to sell every business you invest in. Simply sit back and enjoy an increasing income/dividend stream. Private markets is a broad generalisation. Many facets within it.

Another bullish signal ….when the vast majority are bearish fill your boots.
IMO it best not to follow the experts but better to understand markets.
It’s interesting that a number of investors are beginning to understand buying relatively undervalued
stocks one day and selling when relatively overvalued the next day can add value….keep up the good
work.

My mother used to have a tin in the kitchen where she kept her emergency money. This was better than RCP. It is crap.

It has no redeeming features, it does not what it says on the tin. Do not buy this bag of utter useless tripe.

I don’t usually go off on one, but , why buy this?

😂
Normally such a level headed poster 😂
What does it say on the tin?
Benchmark RPI +3%
I can see why they've recently changed to CPI +3%

I anticipate that RPI +3% will be a challenge (for everyone) from this point forth
I believe global returns for next 10yrs are widely expected to moderate somewhat

Apologies for my rant. Looking at some of the stuff I have bought, I have no right to comment.
