Banks are an easy target. Devoid of public sympathy. Effectively a tax on the UK economy though.

I also remember reading something about just how much they are making on there reserves. Think about what they were getting on their short dated bonds in the past and what they are making now.

This non operating profit similar to what ALPH has, has been a great opportunity missed by the market.

Remember the UK Government injected over £45 billion in equity to recapitalise the bank following the GFC. As the balance sheet has shrunk subsequently. There's been an excess of capital .

How are you positioned for this...if at all? Neutral rate could stay profitable. In the case of ALPH far greater than the market cap as it's clients money.
