Are you factoring in increased employment costs from next month ? Dividends are only covered to the extent that the future year's profits are only better than the last's.

Yes. It hasn't stopped being a very well run company which has investment plans in place to stay that way. Another 10p on a sausage roll or a donut because of a rise in minimum wage or NIC is unlikely to result in the queue being any shorter at your local Greggs. I suspect also where there's five people behind the counter today, next month there's going to be four.
