Ecofin Global Util has unsurprising held up with one of the very few holdings not in red over a 3 month return period.

I am a bit surprised the S&P being battered today, after Asia had a positive overnight.

I've no idea what to do so will just do nothing. Not quite at the point of selling CGAR to buy discount IT's just yet, though watching now..

Reasonably content in my defensive fortress.

I did say last week that Tuesday will be the day.

I dont know who noticed but 15:30 seems to have been the pit. ATT was 298 and it closed at 307.
there was a lot of volume today...some of this was "first day back" for a lot of traders. the FTSE auction took forever tonight

So is anyone rushing out to sell their Fundsmith or SMT or whatever and plough the proceeds into VHYL?

Nope. My SMT has just nudged into loss territory, as for my EWI, hmm sbout 20% loss. Not rushing to sell, tempted to top up if they fall much more. I did top up Fidelity Index World P on Friday. Mostly as I had II credit running out and couldn't think what else to do.

Interesting about the tech overweight comments above, I actually opened a small (3.2k) position in L&G tech index to fully fund my isa after a drawn out transfer from iWeb. I figured it was low, and likely to improve, even if I have to wait months or years for that to happen.

The Moat type stuff seems interesting, in theory, however, the small position I have in this isn't holding up that well.

And so the ongoing cycle of holding too much cash, then being paralysed by fear when markets tumble continues for me.... when will I ever learn?
