I see the SPACs market has gone of the boil which seems to confirm some of us going of the boil with PEs. I am still a bull of PSH with overweight position.

Berkshire Hathaway, Warren Buffett’s investment vehicle, has reportedly ditched more than $3bn in stock in payment processor giants Visa and Mastercard.
According to a securities filing in the U.S., dated 14 February, the investment giant has sold $1.8bn in Visa shares and $1.3bn in Mastercard stock.
At the same time, the company increased its participation in Nubank, the largest fintech bank in Brazil that is highly active among the country’s Bitcoin investors.
The activity signals a shift away from traditional credit companies and an increased focus on their fintech rivals.

PSH is on a sizeable discount, but, aren't many of its holdings consumer discretionary? Discretionary spending may well get hit hardest if inflation increases and times get tougher? i.e. is it such a bargain on fundamentals or is the expectation that Ackman will pull another swaps rabbit out of the hat? Not as clear cut to me as some of the other discount stories.

Are not all those factors priced into the share prices or has the market not realised what's going on yet .. could be these factors have driven down the prices already and therefor they are now oversold..not sure I can added any value trying to understand what's going on in say 100,000 minds.

Billionaire investor Bill Ackman said Monday he had invested once again in Canadian Pacific Railway Co., a decade after he replaced the railroad’s board of directors and implemented the late Hunter Harrison as chief executive officer in a high-profile proxy battle.

Ackman disclosed in a regulatory filing that his Pershing Square Capital Management held roughly 2.8 million shares in CP Rail at the end of December. The investor has since added to his position and currently has economic exposure of roughly 14.8 million shares, or $1.2 billion, in stock and forward contracts that it intends to exercise, a spokesman for the firm confirmed.
