The lamppost thing always makes me giggle. It’s seen as the simple solution by the general public.

If you lived in Sleepyville Village, then you could possibly have a couple on the lighting cct. But I’m not sure.

Herein lies the problem. the "science" says you can't use lampposts without re-cabling. Or rather the engineering does.

But that doesn't stop a non starter of an idea gaining traction with the clueless and becoming the narrative. Not does it stop investors pouring money into the latest lamppost charger start up. The Hydrogen Economy all over again.

If you challenge it, you are then an 'anti' or a 'climate denier' or just plain thick something. You do not conform. YOU are the bad guy.

And this is because people claiming to "follow the science" are not doing so and have little clue of actual science. And that would include a lot of government scientists.

Here we are specks zooming around in circles around the earth’s axis at some 500mph at this latitude. Hurtling through our solar system at 107,000 km/hr, and travelling with our sun at 70,000 km/hr relative to nearby stars. Drifting through wider space at 1.3 million mph.

There are over 100 million stars in the milky way and estimates of 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars in the universe.

If we are interested in the eternal survival of the species we should probably try to spawn ouselves onto another spinning rock somewhere anyway.

Well the problem i have is that i am already running my home from the lamppost outside. I am not sure if it could take an EV too. That might be pushing it a bit

Your vote is entirely irrelevant, follow the money...

They own the politicians, they own the MSM, they put out disinformation, and they claim to push a proven virtuous agenda which is however unproven, extremely doubtful, and designed to make everyone but themselves poorer and less free.

Arctic Sea Ice highest for 21 years...

And so now the response is to start adjusting the past data to keep the narrative going...

‘Melting’ Greenland has lost 1 trillion more tons of ice than thought...

Well this is ultimately the narrative for destruction of industry.

The BBC asks about the effect of closing Port Talbot on "The UK Carbon footprint".

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-68017180

Will the government act? Because we were told before they couldn't 'because of EU rules'.

Well, we will see I guess. I'm not optimistic.

The Welsh government has it in for Port Talbot, by first forcing closure of it's source of open cast coal. And still the Welsh vote for them.

The BBC ran an article on potholes.

It blamed climate change for the amount of potholes.

Well it isn’t , it’s piss poor workmanship by the repair guys.
