Kier Starker is centre right, not far from where Sunak stands right now, so nothing much will change imo, but at least it won't get any worse.

He was hard left many years ago, he only moved to the right when he realised the hard left wouldn't be voted into power. Many who know him say he will say whatever it takes to get into power, the man is more driven by power than Tony Blair. Don't believe a word that comes out of his mouth, it'll change tomorrow, then the day after and again the day after that!

BTW: I'm not political, voted once when I was 18, was so disillusioned by them I never voted again...

Blair had to form an alliance with Brown to unite the party. Nothing has changed internally since. There's considerable power wielded outside of public view.

"Rochdale" isn't Starmer's finest hour. What else is going to unravel.............

It looks like the future is going to boil down to :-
Sunak v Starmer.
Biden v Trump.
It doesn't seem to be much of a choice in either case.
I have no idea how it will affect investments.

I'm no fan of Starmer but after seeing the country going to the dogs under various Tory PMs in the last 14 years, I'd take him any day. I'm leaning towards Lib Dems at present but I'm undecided except on one thing, I will be voting against the Tories and I think that anyone who sticks with them is either very rich or have lost the plot.

The best result for the country imo would be a hung parliament because it'd make it less likely that whatever government we get could do anything stupid.

Vote ABC. Anyone But Conservative

If the LibDems have the best chance of winning in your seat, vote for them. Ditto Labour.

The Conservatives with their actions over the past 14 years and the current appalling state of the country have lost the right to govern. They need to spend a long time in opposition to decide who they are

There's a fair number of national elections this year. Could see a sizable shift in outlook to a more protectionist/nationalistic global outlook.
