Imagine living in an apartment building with EV's parked in the basement. I wonder how long it will be before these things start being banned from enclosed spaces and are uninsurable?

I guess those green tags on the number plates will come in handy for identification purposes...

Tragic...

So that makes at least two entire cargoes of cars destroyed. Suspect insurers are going to take note of this and jack premiums or refuse cover.

In this latest case it seems likely to be another spontaneous failure. And Cars aren't even shipped fully charged.

At some stage Channel car ferries or the Chunnel might refuse to carry. It will only take one incident.

But let's all say it together "This is the future and there isn't actually a fundamental problem"

Just returned from the railway station, big poster on the wall informing passengers that e-scooters are banned from all trains.

I'd like to see those things banned entirely unless they become subject to licencing and registration the way motorcycles and cars are. There are now loads of stupid teenagers and other fools doing 30mph or faster along footpaths and cycle routes. Another oversight by the government.

What I found most shocking, which is a damning indictment in itself, was the footage of the BBC climate correspondent a few minutes in. What an absolute GRIFTER!! I don't watch TV and hadn't realised how bad things had got.
