Commenting on the results, CEO Rusty Hutson, Jr. said:

"Building a portfolio of high-performing assets with dedicated teams of experienced professionals has been part of our strategic vision since the Company went public, and we have continued our track record of delivering on that vision with two recent announcements: the closing of our Oaktree acquisition and the pending Crescent Pass acquisition. The outstanding results presented, both operationally and financially, reinforce the success of this strategy. Our ability to drive the 3% cost structure improvement during the first half of 2024 is enhanced by further scale and vertical integration, allowing us to once again deliver approximately 50% Adjusted EBITDA margins and consistent free cash flow generation. This strategic vision has proven highly successful, but it's our employees' commitment to operational excellence in the field and the corporate office that has helped Diversified achieve these results. We remain committed to our balanced capital allocation framework, with the diversity and strength of our asset base providing a solid foundation for accretive growth and value creation for our shareholders, while maintaining our position as the Right Company at the Right Time to responsibly manage long-life, mature producing assets."

A share that doesn't appear to want to break free of all the negative views.
I assume all the shorts are the main problem, they just ain't going away. I suspect creating the "market knows something I don't know" view!
I reckon it's fallen far enough at the moment and would not be surprised if we don't have a run up to £12 again.
Take profits? decent if it does.
Annoying as it's really the gas price that should decide the share price. Or in the case of DEC the hedges.
If looking to get in now maybe a good time.

6% down today, both here and in the US 🇺🇸 (US market still open, was -7% an hour ago) … I don’t know why folk are selling at these levels, particularly as it goes ex-dividend a week today. My £10k holding back down to just over £9k again but missed out topping up as visiting family and travelling today.

Will look to do something tomorrow, possibly both here and with OSB.

TRADED Dec for 42 free shares

OSB - Having looked recently the tax position and the likelihood that tenants will get more protection doesn't make BTL on debt particularly attractive. As that is OSBs business......why bother?

More from the Oak Bloke
He appears to to be lost as to why the share price is so low!!
He has it down to the shorts?
Really?
Actually I think he is probably right but I don't see them disappearing anytime soon.
The market is a product of sentiment with an occasional foray into reality.
I am holding till reality kicks in.
I will enjoy the dividends in the meantime.

As always, gas prices from now till Spring will be a major SP driver, both for the unhedged production and the setting of future hedging prices. This remains a grey area with great uncertainty. Like you I’m happy to hold on (to my £10k holding) accepting the dividends - I continue to rebalance at either £9k or £11k to smooth out the bumps a bit.

At 842p it’s just 20p below year low. And almost 1,000p below the high of 1,795p !!!! Gotta smile.

Canadian LNG comes on stream shortly. That will effect export prices.

BUT a vast amount are exported cross border into the US at very very low prices.

So the overall effect will BE?

My best guess is it will ease price pressure in the US but will reduce export prices.

Seems the most likely effect.

Middlefield have been on about how cheap gas is that is exported to the US. They are big in pipeline infrastructure.

"Adding to optimism for the sector is the recent progress at LNG Canada, the largest private infrastructure project in Canadian history. The facility is set to receive its first natural gas deliveries in September and is on track to begin exporting LNG by mid-2025."
