I believe that it's only when you are ill, or have been ill that you realise that health is everything.

All good luck for your future readings.

There is the old Chinese saying that if you had to choose 2 out of the 3 which would they be? Money, Health, Happiness. Clive of India was a billionaire by today's standards yet committed suicide, it is thought because of agonising pain from gallstones (treated in those days with opium).

Interesting to see today's movers. SMT, RIO, junk all up, CGT down.

Superb news!
I am now 7 years post radical prostatectomy and remember when I had my official "you beat it" result...a great day indeed.

I suppose it's appropriate to remind all the blokes on this forum to get checked and not delay if you have any symptoms. Caught early, prostate cancer is easily treated -
Constant need to pee?
Peeing more/less than previously?
Having to get up in the night to wizz?
Blood in the urine?
Blood in the sperm?

Chances are it is a 'normal' enlargement of the prostate, nothing to worry about.
If it is prostate cancer, then catching it early is essential.

GET IT CHECKED

Well the pound has risen from 1.32 ish to 1.35 ish so that 2.5%.

And indexes often wont budge much due to rotation. Someone sells UK banks and buys UK retail is largely index neutral. If however, you are a UK Financial Services fund then you may get a kicking.

Such is the attraction of passive investing.

A little disappointed by the performance of Troy Trojan Ethical in this dip. Especially compared to HVPE which I view as far more 'risk on'.

I've only held this for a few months, but does make me question what role it actually plays in my portfolio. Perhaps i'm just not patient enough with these all weather funds!?

Edit: I'm actually contemplating re-directing some of the funds destined for Troy Trojan Ethical into Berkshire Hathaway.

My general view on them is that you should be all in or all out. I can't see any point in putting them into a mix.
