Is the climate changing in a materially significant unidirectional way ?
Is man made CO2 actually responsible - or is it sun activity, the earth’s mantle etc
Can anything meaningful be done to change it anyway ?
No - Yes climate is changing, but no, nothing in nature is unidirectional.
Minor roll - CO2 nowhere near the most important. Water vapour of course, is THE most significant greenhouse gas at between 36% and 85% of greenhouse effects. No one wants to talk about clouds though.... The focus is always on the number two, CO2. Water vapour though, is by far the number one and it's not even on the agenda.
No - Humankind, especially the democracies, will never change their profligate lifestyle. They will never vote for a lower standard of living. Developing countries are not going to accept a lower lifestyle than the West.
