He’s annoying, but suspect he’s not the full ticket. Find plenty of other posters far more aggravating although many seemed to of vanished 👏

You’d be missed Tug, you seem far more normal than many here, but if you can endure KL, Tony “Thrush” French is small time.

I blocked him many weeks ago, when he insisted in a passive aggressive manner that I share my "plan". Strikes me that French Tony isn't the full shilling.

First poster I've blocked. We've asked him nicely to stick with his own thread for his cutting & pasting, but he has begun to infect other threads. There have been other prolific posters, but Mr French's behaviour isn't normal.

Carry on Cleo

Ah, “Carry On Cleo”! A classic British historical comedy film from 1964, part of the iconic Carry On series. Let’s delve into the world of Roman antics and witty humor, shall we?

In this film, we find ourselves during Caesar’s invasions of Britain. Mark Antony (played by Sid James) is struggling to lead his armies through miserable weather. Meanwhile, cavemen Horsa (Jim Dale) and Hengist Pod (Kenneth Connor) attempt to alert Boudica to the invasion but end up captured by the Romans. Horsa is sold as a slave, and Hengist is destined to be thrown to the lions. Quite the predicament!

But wait, there’s more! Julius Caesar (Kenneth Williams) arrives in Rome to consult the Vestal Virgins, but an assassination attempt is made on his life. Horsa escapes, leaving Hengist to take credit for saving Caesar. Mark Antony, sent to Egypt, becomes besotted with Cleopatra (Amanda Barrie) and plots to kill Caesar. Drama, intrigue, and hilarity ensue!

And now, the pièce de résistance: the famous pun! Kenneth Williams delivers the immortal line: “Infamy, infamy, they’ve all got it in for me!” 🤣 This gem was voted the funniest one-liner in film history. Interestingly, it wasn’t even written by Talbot Rothwell (the film’s writer) but borrowed from a Take It from Here script by Frank Muir and Denis Norden.

So, there you have it! A delightful blend of historical farce, wordplay, and Kenneth Williams’ comedic genius. If you haven’t seen it yet, consider adding Carry On Cleo to your watchlist—it’s a riot!

You need to see how she responds to your finger and touch pad

If she's receptive, keep banging your keyboard with repetitive key strokes

His posts don't bother me too much, provided I avoid the two topics that appear to serve as his personal echo chamber... other than his inability to type _you_ in full.

Remember, "There is only one thing in life worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about".

Oscar Wilde, I presume.

If anyone ever talks about me then I presume they haven't got a life.

Just keep the good stuff coming boys and girls and if you don't like one or two people then don't read them, move on to the more interesting. I think I have bored everyone before by saying that I appreciate everyones posts especially if it helps make us money. Please don't go away!! just block or ignore the ones that wind you up. Of course if we are talking carry on films then "carry on regardless". 1961. classic
